Profile

Born in 1971 in Douala (Cameroon) where he lives and works, his field of expression is as well writing (several publications) as plastic arts. He conquered photography and the performance which he especially performed in the public space.

His work was shown in several countries in the world. Many times, in France and in Germany and very recently in Ivory Coast.

He regularly achieves stage designs for the theatre, conceived and welcomed the first urban stage designs in New-Bell, a partnership between Scur' k and the Circle Kapsiki, a collective of artists he co-founded.

The circle opens, in New-Bell, the K Factory a place of residences for interdisciplinary artists, a Contemporary Art Gallery, and enlivened this district with several High-level artistic events. 

A manifesto of its political, artistic and social commitment in his district and country. Recently having enthroned notable in the village of his father, he goes back to the codes of rituals and customs, while keeping his position of Contemporary Artist.

In autumn 2016, during the fair AKAA - Paris, his sculptures were greeted by the Art critic Philippe Dagen in an article on the newspaper " Le Monde".
